Estallidos in a nutshell
The ESTALLIDOS collaboration comprises three nodes: Canary Islands ( IAC ), Granada (IAA ) and Madrid ( UAM , CIEMAT up to 2023, CAB , former LAEFF, and ESAC ). The project is funded through competitive call for proposals submitted to the ministry responsible for providing research grants every 3 to 4 years. Depending on each call, 3 or 4 centres apply in a coordinated project, each one with a Principla Investigator. In turn, the collaboration as a whole is managed by a Principal Coordinator who varies from node to node depending on the edition of the project. The number of centers depends on the organisation of the centers in Madrid.
The reference of the different proyects, dates, title and the IPs and co-IPs in each node and amount granted is shown in the table below . Besides of the fundings, the project is is organised and coordinated through annual workshops, in which results of all study themes (programmes) are reviewed and more specific discussions on one of them are developed in a monographic way. The different workshops can be found in the Workshops ESTALLIDOS item in the left menu.
Up to now, ESTALLIDOS has obtained funds from eight 3-year (4-year for the last one) projects. Next table shows the reference of each one of the proyects. In green we marck the Principal Coordinator of the project in each edition.
