ESAC Workshop - Working with Euclid Q1: From Data Access to Science, 1-3 December 2025, ESA’s European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), Madrid, Spain

The European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), the Spanish site of the European Space Agency (ESA), hosted the Working with Euclid Q1: From Data Access to Science Workshop from Monday 1 December to Wednesday December 2025.
The workshop focused on the data made available in March 2025 with the ESA Euclid Q1 data release, offering over 63 square degrees of high-resolution sky imaging tailored for non-cosmological research.
Since its release, the dataset has already supported a wide range of scientific studies, from galaxy morphology and AGN identification to the discovery of strong gravitational lenses.
SUBSTELLAR project researchers attended the workshop and presented some contributions in person or online.
Dr Carlos Domiguez-Tagle: Spectroscopic Search, Classification and Analysis of Ultracool Dwarfs in Euclid Q1 Data
Dr Marusa Zerjal: B rown Dwarfs in Euclid's Lynds 1641 Star-forming Regions
Dr Nikola Vitas: Identifying Ultracool Dwarfs (UCDs) in Euclid Q1 Spectra Using k-Median Clustering
